Water and dirt repellent
All terracare® leathers are produced with special, hydrophobic greases that are water- and dirt-repellent.
Flame resistant
Leather is hardly inflammable. It is therefore very well suited for use in occupational safety products.
Breathable
Leather is naturally breathable. We keep its permeability for perspiration at the highest level – for ensuring a naturally balanced climate for feet.
Bacteria-free and odourless
No bacteria accumulate on terracare@ leather, so odour (from lactic acid bacteria) does not develop. Any moisture that develops is absorbed by leather fibres and released again. The shoe therefore remains odourless – and the foot drier.
Comfortable
terracare® leather gives the wearer stability without pinching. It is sufficiently elastic and yet retains its tension.
Durable
Leather per se has excellent properties in terms of durability, elasticity and tear resistance. The resulting durability is further enhanced by our special tanning process, which keeps the natural fibre structure particularly compact without hardening.
